Primary Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for generating, and maintaining his or her own integral pipeline, with a minimum monthly requirement for volume; conducts loan interviews, council members, and offers financial alternatives while providing superior service throughout the entire process.  

Essential Functions:
Conduct a thorough interview with members to identify their financial needs and recognize any sales opportunities.  Respond to all leads within 2 hours (PA Web, Synapsys referrals, walk-in’s or from the Call Center contacts “Mortgage Loan Queue”.) track and document all staff referrals

Initiate a detailed and comprehensive Loan Application in both Prime Alliance platforms according to established department procedures and workflow processes

Analyze credit, run initial automated underwriting engine (DU) follow findings and/or company standards

Obtain and review all documentation for completeness, accuracy and insuring it adheres to the Credit Unions quality standards (due diligence and data integrity)

Ensures all appropriate disclosures and required documentation are issued within the required timeframes to meet compliance standards including HMDA, RESPA, Reg Z, WCU lending policies

Cross-sell a minimum of two products per month (checking, savings, credit cards, consumer loans); submit and record through Synapsys provide a monthly report

Continue education and training of company, state, federal and investor requirements and guidelines to keep current

Produce the monthly minimum requirement for closed loan volume of $1,500,000.00 after six months of employment

Complete required reports as determined by the department

Other Departmental duties as needed or assigned

Consistently demonstrates the Westerra Way Experience and complies with all policies and regulations

Education Experience and Certification:
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum three years mortgage lending experience
Demonstrated sales ability/skills

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent Communication skills, both oral & written
Ability to interact well with others in a positive manner
Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DU/LP
10 key, HP or Financial Calculator

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
Office environment
Outside sales
Works primarily at desk
