Job Description

This position is responsible for defining and implementing a digital strategy for our owned digital channels including website, social media and mobile. 

Key Responsibilities:
• 
Develops digital strategy to support an omni-channel experience for Company digital properties as well as helps define positioning for other Company family of brands’ digital properties to ensure resources are used efficiently and targeted at unique segments.
• 
Partners with SEO/SEM team to oversee optimization on mattressfirm.com to improve conversion rate online and increases to store traffic while maintaining a positive customer experience and alignment with the brand strategy.
• 
Develops an active social media community that encourages recommendations as well as develops a process for handling customer service issues.
• Supervises agencies and partners holding them accountable for performance metrics.
• 
Works closely with the brand team, the merchandising team, the IT team and the sales team to understand and prioritize initiatives.
• Works closely with the marketing and content teams to establish and execute a cohesive editorial calendar for digital channels.
• 
Generates and keeps the organization informed of consumer insights and competitive trends inside and outside the category.
• 
Partners with various departments and provides relevant tools and processes to ensure the brand is integrated throughout all communications and actions.
• 
Develops measurements and reporting to tie activities both online and offline to business results.
• 
Conduct research on new and emerging digital technologies and partnerships
• 
Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Management. 

Knowledge Requirements:
• 
Microsoft Office products
• 
Enterprise Content Management systems
• Digital Analytics and tracking tools 

Professional Experience
• 
10+ years of well-rounded marketing/technology experience
• 
Track record of developing and evaluating digital experiences
• 
Proven ability to lead a proactive marketing team and ensure accountability. 

Education/Training
• 
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent Business related experience
