Job Description

Responsible for managing all aspects of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting including the design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance and analysis of database queries and reports. Presents analysis results / recommendations to management in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information. Acts as administrative liaison for assigned Medical Director or other management teams necessary to succeed in the mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, documents and maintains database queries and reports related to but not limited to medical management, network reporting and other projects assigned

  • Develops systematic reporting processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to management

  • Transfers data into meaningful, professional and easy to understand formats for various audiences

  • Combines various data sources into a comprehensive understanding of medical management or network data for service improvement opportunities

  • Manages reporting and analysis elements on all business initiative projects

  • Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information

  • Troubleshoots and coordinates resolutions to all system issues affecting Customer Service

  • Creates on-line tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of staff in their roles

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of reporting / analytic experience

  • Advanced level of experience in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology

  • 1+ years of experience with quality programs, such as CMS Star Rating, HEDS or NCQA and / or health care plan management

  • 1+ years of experience in a managed care environment

  • Experience in Medicare Advantage Part D (MAPD) operations

  • Familiarity with website development

  • Development experience with APIs using Java, MS or similar technology

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities with special attention to accuracy and detail

  • Self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and ensure successful completion of all projects and requests

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including executive and senior management teams

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high volume workload situations
