Job Description

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with almost 4000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is seeking a receptionist in our Boston office, reporting to the Supervisor of Administrative Support. Responsibilities: • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls. • Greeting and directing visitors, assisting and interacting with clients and firm personnel. • Disseminating general firm information. • Conference room scheduling. • Visitor office scheduling. • Assisting with audio-visual support and video conferences. • Liaison between on-site catering company and Morgan Lewis staff requesting food/beverage services. • Maintaining a professional appearance of the reception area. • Maintaining logs, providing general administrative support to the office personnel, and other duties assigned. Working Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Job Requirements

Experience: • High school diploma, or equivalent required • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, with at least one (1) year as a receptionist. • Experience working in a law firm or a professional services environment is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, a professional appearance and demeanor, and must be proactive and able to demonstrate a high level of client service. • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change, and excellent PC skills - proficiency in Outlook and Excel is preferred, proficiency in MS Word is required. • Flexibility to work occasional overtime, before and after normal work hours, is required.
