Opportunity Overview & Responsibilities
Our client has an immediate need for a contract ProE Designer to
 assist in the development of new products in Performance Showering, develop highly complex parametric components, assemblies, layouts and specifications with respect to design intent and apply a good understanding of manufacturing processes. 


  • Evaluating the technical feasibility of new product concepts and potential modifications to existing products. 
  • Assisting design engineers in the development of new products. 
  • Providing technical analysis and implementation of design modifications recommended to accommodate production or improve production efficiency or cost. 
  • Testing products and product components, and accumulating and organizing test data.
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant product technologies and improving technical skills.
  • Originating ideas for new products, product features, and product modifications. 
  • Assisting product design through the direction of model-making resources. 
  •  Assurance of functional acceptability through testing and analysis. 
  • Implementation of styling parameters. 
  • Preparation of drawings and documentation needed to define the product design.
  • Coordination of development timetables and assistance in the preparation of product cost information. 
  • Generation and maintenance of product design histories, manpower and development cost estimates, and test documentation. 
  • Accumulation of data from other group functions, other company functions, outside technical consultants, technical publications and records, outside suppliers, customers, end users, related tradesmen, and public and private agencies, related to production capability, product design safety, product reliability, production costs and lead times, component availability, material selection, product codes, governmental regulations, installation parameters, usage requirements, and patents. 
  • Disseminating technical data to other group functions or groups as requested and needed for business decision making. 

Job Requirements

  • 2-year Associates Degree in CAD Design. 
  • Experience designing consumer products
  • Surfacing experience
  • Required software experience: Pro/E Wildfire (5,000 hrs min)
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
