Job Description

We're partnering with a progressive "boutique" CPA firm located in South Denver (DU area) that is motivated to hire an Experienced Tax Staff or Tax Senior for their growing team.

This well-established CPA firm takes pride in a respectable work/life balance for their staff.  They also offer a flexible work schedule -- working hard to accommodate for everyone's individual needs as long as the work is getting done.  If you like to get to work early -- have at it!!  If you're a person that prefers to get in the office around 9:30 am or 10:00 am  --  this can be accommodated for.

This tax professional will work closely with Partner’s and you’ll have direct communication with clients and an opportunity to make an impact with the firm, both short and long-term.  The ideal tax candidate will possess 3-7+ years of recent tax compliance & consulting experience -- ideally within a CPA firm environment.  This firm also offers very realistic growth opportunity for the right individual.  Additionally, the firm takes care of it's people and offers a 5-10% annual bonus plan and an aggressive 401(k) company contribution on top of a competitive base salary and full benefits.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Tax compliance / preparation - Complex Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals and Trusts.  Most of their closely held business clients are complex pass-through entities and the individual tax work includes high net-worth individual clientele.
  • Tax research - regarding specific federal / state laws and regulations.
  • Special projects - as needed or assigned by Management / Partners

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's in Taxation, or a closely related field of study is required for serious consideration along with a strong preference for Tax Professionals holding an active CPA Certification or one in progress.  Hands on experience with GoSystem Tax or CCH ProSystem fx (Engagement) is preferred but not required.

Please apply now for immediate and “confidential" consideration.

Qualified out of state candidates are welcome to apply.
