Job Description

Silver Springs - Martin Luther School (SS/MLS), an organization established in 1859 which provides an array of children’s mental health, special education and child welfare services, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to work out of our office in Philadelphia. 

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) Program and ensuring required documentation is received to meet all regulatory, contractual, and credentialing requirements; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries for requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

 

 


Job Requirements

Education:  A high school diploma or GED is required.

Skill(s):  Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient skills in working with confidential information; knowledge of office and program operations and related standards, regulations, and procedures, including documentation requirements; proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (specifically Word and Excel); visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license required.

Experience:  A minimum of one (1) year administrative/office experience  in the Behavioral Health industry required.
