Job Description

EHS Compliance Specialist

 Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist for its facility in South Central, NE. 

Relocation assistance can be provided

The Opportunity

The EHS Specialist will ensure facilities cornply with all regulations eliminating or controlling hazardous conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities for the EHS Specialist:

  • The EHS Specialist will evaluate current safety programs.
  • Conduct safety audits.
  • Analyze new equipment and verify operator safety.
  • The EHS Specialist will conduct safety training programs.
  • Lead hourly and salary teams to develop improved safety practices.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and respond to OSHA inquires.
  • Establish and maintain safety data bases.
  • The EHS Specialist will implement programs and practices designed to increase work safety.
  • Assist in special taskforce assignments.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibilities by operating within budget.
  • The EHS Specialist will maintain current knowledge of safety and workers comp regulations. 


 

Job Requirements


Job Requirements for the EHS Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ Years of experience in manufacturing facility EHS coordination
  • Knowledge of EPA end OSHA regulations.
  • Must be US citizen or permanent resident.
