Job Description

Verify, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Electro-mechanical Source Inspector with a Defense/Military and Aerospace Background.  The Majority of the work is in Dallas, TX with the ability to travel to Austin, TX on occasions. The candidate must be flexible to accommodate shifting priorities and be able to work well with supplier representatives and have good communication skills. There will be paid travel and overnight accommodations IAW government per diem when necessary. 

 

Frequency:      2 to 3 days a week 

Duration:         on-going support

Job Requirements

Candidate must have 5 years of quality assurance experience that includes:

 

  • Experience in RF Hybrids, Mil PRF 38534 and Mil-Std-883, particularly visual inspection to methods 2010, 2017 and 20132
  • Ability to inspect and test RF Hybrids (Required) –an assessment test will be given
  • Thorough experience with J-STD-001 and IPC 610 soldering
  • Ability to read and interpret simple and complex drawings, specifications, geometric tolerances, and processes
  • Auditing manufacturing processes to SAE, ASTM or Military Standards
  • Evaluation of corrective action for nonconforming products and the associated recommended corrective action
  • Inspecting machined parts, mechanical assemblies, tooling, cables and harnesses
  • Precision mechanical inspection tools
  • Evaluate and perform First Article Inspections to AS9102 standard
  • Electrical Test witness
  • Qualification test witness
  • Computer literate in EXCEL and Word
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5
  • Working knowledge of Electrostatic Sensitivity (ESD) and precautions
  • Working knowledge of Calibration Standards and practices Z540.1
  • Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Must have cell phone
  • Computer is not provided
  • US Citizenship is required

The following background is a plus:

  • Evaluation of printed circuit board manufacturing processes
  • Inspection of printed circuit board
  • Auditing manufacturing processes to SAE, ASTM or Military Standards
