Are you looking to work in Higher Education? Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team! You would be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and receptionist tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities
· Perform a variety of clerical and receptionist duties including: answer and direct calls, distribute mail, maintain filing system
· Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
· Organize and schedule appointments
· Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
· Order office supplies
· Book travel arrangements
· Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
· Data entry duties
· Associates Degree Required (Bachelors Preferred)
· Proven experience as an administrative assistant or related
· Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
· Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
