Please note: This position will be offered as a Telecommute role  within the following Cities Only:  Oxnard, Northridge, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, San Bernardino, Glendale, or Long beach
Trainers with UnitedHealth Group have the opportunity to train talented individuals and exceptional professionals. This a great opportunity to effect the delivery of training programs across a Fortune 6 Organization. In this role, the trainer will keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems in specific areas of expertise. This could encompass training of Claims or Customer Service individuals in the Training Delivery Operational functions and could include some aspects of the design process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effective delivery of training programs across the organization
  • Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems
  • May also be involved in the design process
  • Positions delivering operations specific training, such as Claims or Customer Service, are in the Training Delivery - Operational function
  • Analyzes and investigates
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years Patient Registration / Access (Front End) and / or Back End billing or collections in a healthcare setting
  • Prior experience working effectively in a highly matrix organization
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related HR or training field
  • 2 or more years experience conducting classroom training and / or seminar / workshop topics
