Our Corporate Solutions Group is currently seeking a seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst- Workplace Program Management. You will work closely with the BI manager to study formal and informal data to help better understand performance. This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded individual willing to learn multiple service lines to use information to influence the decision making process.
The Workplace Program Management Analyst is charged with a wide variety of tasks. This person will manage the creation of reports and analytics using Jones Lang LaSalle’s and UnitedHealth Group robust technological tools and systems. The reports and analytics are client facing and require a high level of detail and experience in Business Intelligence Tools and languages as well as JLL systems. This person will also be charged with effective daily coordination, support and administration of the BI self-service portal and other intranet portals to support the integrated workplace program management team with performance metrics. Additional activities may include, but are not limited to functional reporting, risk management, maintenance of department databases, data collection tools and quality programs..
What does this job involve?
Having the know-how
You’ll need to have a great knowledge in Business Intelligence and be fluent in Technology. In this role, you will take ownership of Project Execution Process, including training, analysing effectiveness, performance analytics, and continuous improvements implementation; also you will troubleshoot and seek solutions based on data from Trackers, data management systems, and other online databases and systems of records. This role will assess the current technical environment and develop technology requirements and conceptual solutions to meet business objective. You will partner with data owners to understand business requirements and com on reporting/analysis use cases and work with technical and business teams to define appropriate technical solutions which includes BI solutions & Data Warehouse implementation, data access and dashboard creation.
Being a trailblazer and breaking new ground
To be successful in this role, you should be a confident professional with broad skills in analyzing and solving complex business problems, writing and presenting, facilitating and influencing. This includes being able to extrapolates data and be able to forecast and trending of performance data as well as analyze trends of monthly Key Performance Indicator results for performance improvement concepts. Also, you should be able to provide hands-on support to provision data from a variety of internal sources, build reporting and meta-data models to support strategic data initiatives and design complex reports and dashboards based on requirements as well as be able to support training of new users to accounts with respect to Analytics and technology. Lastly, you will provide Program Analytics, program status information reports and client facing presentations on a reoccurring weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis and create Project Analytics and Maintain BI self-service portal for integrated workplace program management team.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Real Estate, Project Management or related field is required.; also along minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in a project administration, corporate real estate, financial analysis or business intelligence position. Master’s degree (MBA) or similar postgraduate (corporate real estate) certification is desired. Six Sigma certification or other certifications and experience related to process improvement and the statistical evaluation of those processes is highly valued. Experience in real estate brokerage, transaction management, construction management or property management preferred. Previous experience with other data and statistical applications are a plus (PowerPivot, Tableau, SAS, Access, MiniTab, Sigma Excel, SQL)
Dynamic and Highly Skilled
You’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy and utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with planning team and lines of businesses. You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, and cell calculations) PowerPivot, and PowerViews. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to consolidate data into Power Point for presentations to client and lines of business is highly valued. This role will also be responsible for testing and training new employees on all project software applications where appropriate and support projects through initiation to execution, ongoing follow ups, project success tracking and reporting and escalation
