Job Description

Our client in downtown Dallas is searching for a Customer Service Specialist to act as a primary point of contact for their retail branches nationwide. This is not a traditional call center role! This is a role that requires the ability to build relationships with customers, to use problem solving skills to act as a liaison with multiple departments, and act as a proactive advocate for the customer with vendors.

This is a Contract to Hire role paying $14/hr., and the work shift is from 7:30a-4:30p daily.

Primary responsibilities will include:
• Managing inbound calls, chats and emails, providing customers with product, pricing and service information
• Providing order updates, shipping information and tracking information to customers
• Assisting customer with online/ecommerce portal, including basic tech support
• Acting as a liaison with multiple company-owned distribution centers to provide order status updates to customers
• Documentation of all calls and order updates into proprietary database

Job Requirements

* Excellent problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Excellent work ethic, with the ability to commit to a dedicated 7:30-4:30 schedule
• Ability to learn new skills easily, particularly software and technical systems
• Srong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team in a collaborative environment
