The IT help desk support role is to manage and support the day to day IT issue for the company's local San Francisco office. This includes managing the local ticket queue and acting as the liaison with the global IT team in Finland. This person is responsible for troubleshooting windows and mac devices, audio visual support, and basic network support for the local users.
• 80% mac and 20% windows devices
• Audio Visual - Zoom software, Crestron hardware
o Will use an external partner for major issues
o Need someone to troubleshoot and the get the conference room or camera back up
• Applications: slack, exchange, Google docs
• Common issues
o Web browser not working
o Wifi connectivity
o Printer issues
• This company has a lot of monitors up in the office, streaming live games or ads. Will need to make sure these are up and running and troubleshoot accordingly.
• Will be given temporary admin rights, with limited access to the systems because there is a global team that can support major issues remotely.
