Job Description

Mechanical Assembler 

For over twenty years SGF Global has been entrusted by its clients as a leading provider of staffing solutions, seeking out human talent that can augment the synergy, productivity and success within the organizations in which they are placed.   

Our company provides staffing and support solutions in over 35 countries around the world, having expanded by successfully integrating the processes of recruitment, development and retention of personnel.

SGF Global is in search of Assemblers to work for a major oilfield company at Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components of all product lines.
  • Selects correct tools and fixtures.
  • Tests all assembled products. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.

Type of employment: 6 month contract 

15$ per hour - 12hrs shift - 6 days per week

There are 35 openings.

Job Requirements


  • 1-3 years industrial experience; 
  • Steel B it preferred.
  • High School or GED.
  • Ability in blueprint reading, component identification, use of pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, equipment operation, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
